Dangast is Germany’s oldest and most southern North-Sea resort. In the past it has been a hotspot for artists. Nowadays you’ll mostly see relicts of this time and tourists. The town lacks in a modern concept that attracts a young and artistically minded audience instead of the usual tourists. At the same time the older residents should be filled with pride. This task is supposed to be accomplish through a combination of old elements and modern design, taking the art aspect into consideration. The touristic marketing concept ranges from diverse print mediums to an app,  a website and social media channels where workshops and events are promoted. Beside this Dangast also offers cosmetic and merchandise products that visualise the design visitors can find on-site.
